The Jonathan Ferrara Gallery is a collective environment of creative visions. It’s a commercial gallery with a public conscience. Artist, activist and entrepreneur Jonathan Ferrara opened the gallery in 1998 to give unknown and emerging artists a voice. Since its inception, the gallery has focused on cutting edge quality work with a sense of purpose, mission and message.
The gallery draws thousands to its exhibitions each month and participates in several well known community projects, including the annual No Dead Artists juried exhibition, ARTDOCS, a non-profit program that provides healthcare to artists, and New Orleans Artists in Exile, an ongoing traveling exhibit of works by displaced New Orleans artists.
The Gallery focuses exclusively on the individual message of each artist and his/her creative process.
