iSeatz

Local startup iSeatz began as an online source for consumers and concierge personnel to book restaurant reservations. But soon, Founder and CEO Kenneth Purcell, a New Orleans native, began finding various uses for his company’s technology platform.

By 2002, iSeatz was preselling tours, show tickets, theme park tickets, airport shuttle services, price-fixed menus at restaurants nationwide and more. The business venture took off for the reservation experts and within the last two years has gone from a five-person office in New Orleans to having personnel in four cities on three continents.

Purcell’s entrepreneurial spirit was recognized in 2007 when iSeatz was named an Innovator of the Year by CityBusiness and also named Growth Company of the Year by the Louisiana Technology Council. Recently, the company cracked $10 million in gross revenues for the first time in their eight-year history.
